ADULT PLAYERS IN THE NEWS!

US Open of Beach Volleyball Results

Our very own Lana Odom and Kim Williamson not only competed in the US Open, they came home with a first place finish in Women's A/B Division. Congratulations and thank you for representing our region so well. We are proud of all the teams who traveled to California.

The North Texas Region is making preparations to start the new volleyball year. Here are some highlights:

Registration is starting and it is a new process. We will be using USA Volleyball's online system to register all members. We feel this will best serve our members by providing the following advantages:
- Data is already in the USA system; it will just be a matter of obtaining a login and then updating information
- Members will not have turn in waivers or code of conducts - all forms will be signed electronically
- For those needing background checks, this can be handled through the system - no need to fill out a form, sign and mail in
- Members will be able to print their membership card, which will give them the ability to show proof of membership without delays that come with going through the region office
- Members will send payment once completed with registration. They will mail in and as soon as received, the membership record will be recorded and the member will receive an email confirming acceptance of membership. This will alleviate anyone being concerned about a club submitting their paperwork or payment.
Adult tournaments are now appearing on the calendar. Please utilize the calendar for the most current information regarding these tournaments. You'll be able to contact the tournament directors to sign up. Don't forget - you must be registered prior to playing (that includes paying)
We are finalizing dates for IMPACT clinics and a CAP clinic.
